ADAM LAUDER is a full-time doctoral student in art history at the University of Toronto. Formerly, he was the W. P. Scott Chair for Research in e-Librarianship at York University, where he began developing an online catalogue raisonne, the IAINBAXTER&raisonnE, in collaboration with conceptual artist IAIN BAXTER&. He has edited H& IT ON (YYZBOOKS, 2012), featuring new work by IAIN BAXTER&. The book includes his essay, “Trade Routes of the Mind,” outlining the first history of information art in Canada. He has also written a chapter on artist and marketing theorist Bertram Brooker (1888–1955) which appears in The Logic of Nature, The Romance of Space: Elements of Canadian Modernist Painting, edited by Cassandra Getty. Lauder has contributed articles to magazines including Canadian Art, Border Crossings, C magazine, Hunter and Cook, and Millions, as well as scholarly journals, such as Art Documentation, Canadian Journal of Communication, Future Anterior, Technoetic Arts, The Journal of Canadian Art History, TOPIA, and Visual Resource.
